PART ONE

We love TEXAS, and we especially love roaming anywhere in the OLD WEST. The old towns, deserts, mountains and high plains scenery make for a photographers dream. And, we really love those GHOST TOWNS !

TERLINGUA, Tx, adobe ruins

Lajitas, Tx, old western town

TERLINGUA and LAJITAS are typical ofthe fascinating old western towns to be found down around the Rio Grande and Big Bend. For ghost hunting, scout around for old cemetaries, and ask the "old timers andlocals". Terlingua was the object of a very successful music album by Jerry Jeff Walker,"VIVA TERLINGUA"
LANGTRY,Texas, home of "The Jersey Lily" No ghosts here today, (too hot 114 degrees !) Actually, this site has been made into a tourist attraction and probably any self respecting ghostwill be difficult to coax out in this building. BUT NOT SO for the rest of Langtry, old graves, old buildings, and a rich colorful history make this spot a great one to HUNT GHOSTS.

A little note of CAUTION here...Mary and I have arrived at GHOST TOWNS before only to find that all property was fenced in or posted. Also, some town locations may not be where advertised or mostly gone. (there's always that nearby cemetary, though)

We are very conservative when considering the source of "orbs" but were pleased to capture this orb in broad daylight at this old ruin along a country road in Galveston County.(center right of wall)

STAY WITH US as we head deep into the West Texas Hillcountry to find ghosts, and capture recordings of actual "VOICES OF DEAD PEOPLE"

Stonehenge, Texas

Mary and I had just let the kids off at summer camp near HUNT, Texas,  and we decided to try a short cut thru the Hill Country on Hwy 1340. We were headed to Del Rio and figured the worst that could happen by taking an unknown back road was that we would see some new scenery. We were sure correct on that one....To our astonishment, as we came 'round a curve on this little traveled road, there on our left, without a previous clue to us, appeared STONEHENGE, Texas, tucked back away from the main thoroughfares.

Turns out the Stonehenge re-creation was the dream of the late Al Sheppard, a former Hunt resident, whose ashes are scattered among the monuments. STONEHENGE,can be found by driving west on Hwy 1340 from HUNT, Tx If you need directions, just ask at the filling station and little store in Hunt. Hunt is in Kerr County, a bit west of Kerrville.

NOW FOLLOW RICH AND MARY THRU THE WEBSITE AS THEY FIND EVIDENCE OF LIFE AFTER DEATH.........  HEAR ACTUAL VOICES OF THE DEAD, SEE PHOTOS !
